Who should attend
Any individuals who will be actively involved in the organization's Safety Management System (safety program) or responsible for the duties of a Company Aviation Safety Officer. Individuals with previous experience and those with no knowledge in aviation safety management will find this course useful for the formation or expansion of safety programs within their organizations. There will be a limit to the number of participants to ensure quality discussion.
Important DetailsThis course will qualify participants to meet the training and knowledge requirements of a CASO in accordance with Transport Canada regulations. The program has been updated with the latest information from Transport Canada's regulatory changes and their plans involving "Flight 2010." Although this course covers the Transport Canada SMS regulatory requirements, the content is global in nature and participants from other nations have found the material useful.

Logistics
Participants will receive a consolidated reference binder of class material that will provide guidance for setting up a system within their organization. Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate will be issued. Tea/coffee/juice/water will be provided in the classroom at all times; continental breakfast and lunch on both days is included.
Investment
$950.00 Canadian funds per person, plus GST up to and including the course in April. Courses in
August and later $1,150.00 Canadian funds per person, plus GST.
